Who We Are
Shaggy and Lauren have 4 kids. Shaggy (aka) Cooper is the oldest, followed by the only girl, Alice. Harlan is the 3rd born with Anson bringing up the caboose. We love playing games, watching movies, and having dance parties. We are a family full of extroverts, so if you come over I am sure you will find a friend.
Calling Kenya home is a pleasure, but we definitely don't forget our roots back in Texas. Lauren and the 3 oldest were all born in Texas and Anson was born in Kenya. If you want to know where Shaggy was born, you will have to ask him and about his name too.
We have a Rhodesian Ridgeback who's called Red, not Scooby!
We love media, hanging out with friends, and cooking food for others. Most importantly we love Jesus.
What We Do
Shaggy is a media worker. He creates videos to share about what God is doing.
He produces projects to help share the gospel of Jesus to those in the far unreached places.
He helps to train indigineous workers in media while discipling them. This helps the indigineous workers to have a tent-making skill where they are sent.
Lauren shares her administrative skills with the Africa Based Services in Nairobi.
She also helps with housing and orienting new workers to Nairobi life.
The olderst two are in boarding school while the youngest two are homeschooled.
In our free time we cook for and learn cooking from our neighbors and friends.
We also enjoy being apart of the Mavuno Downtown family
where we attend and serve in Life Groups.

As we serve overseas, we depend entirely on God to lead individuals and churches to invest in our work through prayer and finances.
